Jessica Verrilli

Jessica has built her career partnering with founders to build breakout companies. She joined Twitter in 2009 as the 34th employee working directly with the founders and over her ~8.5 year tenure scaled with the company into the VP of Corporate Development & Strategy. She acquired 30 companies, including Vine and Periscope, and played a critical role in helping Twitter launch new products, technology, and business initiatives. Jessica is a co-founder of #ANGELS and has personally invested in 30+ companies, including Vanta, Gusto, Color, Anchorage, Literati, Coinbase, Instacart, Material Security, Contentful and many others. She was most recently a General Partner at GV (Google Ventures) where she led investments in companies including Digits, Homebound, Instawork and others.

Jessica is a Pacific Northwest native and has spent nearly two decades in the Bay Area. She was a Human Biology major at Stanford University, where she was a Mayfield Fellow and varsity lacrosse player. She loves to run and used to do ultramarathons, but is now mostly running after a young toddler and infant at home.

April Underwood

April is a full stack leader and builder, having operated as an executive, public board director, hyper-growth leader, and early-stage founder. She led Product and Platform at Slack through 10X growth in employees, customers, and revenue from 2015-2019 and was its first Chief Product Officer. She joined Twitter in early 2010 and was Director of Product and Director of Business Development over her 5-year tenure working across platform, ads, and data products. Previously, April has held Product, Partnerships, and Engineering roles at Google, Climate Corporation, Travelocity, and Intel.

April was the founder of Nearby, and is also a co-founder of #ANGELS, personally investing in companies including Vanta, Color, Cue Health, Equals, Carta, and Fireflies.ai. April sits on the boards of directors for Zillow Group and Eventbrite, and the Advisory Council for the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. April holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley (Haas) and a BBA in Management Information Systems and Business Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
