Jessica Verrilli

Jessica has built her career partnering with founders to build breakout companies. She joined Twitter in 2009 as the 34th employee, working directly with the founders, and eventually became the VP of Corporate Development & Strategy. Over 8.5 years, she acquired 30 companies, including Vine and Periscope, and played a critical role in helping Twitter launch new products, technology, and businesses. 

Jessica is the co-founder of #ANGELS, an investment collective, and a personal angel investor in 30+ companies including Vanta, Gusto, Contentful, Color, Anchorage, Coinbase, Instacart and many others. She was most recently a General Partner at Google Ventures where she led investments in companies like Digits, Homebound, Instawork and others.

Jessica is a Pacific Northwest native and has spent nearly two decades in the Bay Area. She was a Human Biology major at Stanford University, where she was a Mayfield Fellow and varsity lacrosse player. She loves to run and used to do ultramarathons, but is now mostly running after young children at home.
