April Underwood

April is a full stack leader and builder, having operated as an executive, public board director, hyper-growth leader, and early-stage founder. She led Product and Platform at Slack through 10X growth in employees, customers, and revenue from 2015-2019 and was its first Chief Product Officer. She joined Twitter in early 2010 and was Director of Product and Director of Business Development over her 5-year tenure working across platform, ads, and data products. Previously, April has held Product, Partnerships, and Engineering roles at Google, Climate Corporation, Travelocity, and Intel. 

April was the founder of Nearby, and is also a co-founder of #ANGELS, personally investing in companies including Vanta, Color, Cue Health, Equals, Carta, and Fireflies.ai. April sits on the boards of directors for Zillow Group and Eventbrite.

April holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley (Haas) and a BBA in Management Information Systems and Business Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
